Your Networking Opportunities:
A key feature of our monthly chapter meetings in this really good meeting venue is the Special Networking Session where you have the opportunity to make new friendships with like-minded colleagues, to help you build your skills and knowledge and to improve your trading / investing results. Of course, you will also be able to network with your existing friends and colleagues and talk about the markets — both past market performance, and where the market might be going to in the near future.
Visitors are welcome. Please note that a $30 attendance fee is payable by all non-members who attend.
All first-time visitors and new members are welcome to join in the “Newbies Huddle” during the networking session. This will provide you with information about the ATAA, and the basics about Technical Analysis, and some tips about going forward.

Alan Clement — Trading Strategy Designer and Trader
Alan Clement is a trading strategy designer and independent trader with over 25 years of experience in the financial industry. He manages his own independent trading business. His main focus is in the design and development of quantitative trading strategies that trade multiple markets His website is helixtrader.com and he tweets as @helixtrader
David Coe — Private Trader and retired Computer Engineer
In 2007 he became a trader in the FCT Group.
David is presently a private Investment and Futures trader using CQG, WebIRESS, Ninjatrader.
Robert Grigg — Private Trader and Investment Manager
Robert is a Director and Investment Manager at Crystal Blue (Aust) Pty Ltd where he manages family based investment funds. He is also a Director of consulting firm CQL Pty Ltd; current consulting is now centred on the design, construction and optimisation of algorithmic trading systems.
He is a past National President of the Australian Technical Analysts Association (ATAA).
Gary Murphy— Private Investor and Educator
Gary retired to Gisborne in 2010. In 2012 he did a course on Options and although he lost money, he still believed in Options and the Stockmarket. Since then he has concentrated on learning the idiosyncrasies of trading Stocks and developing his own strategies and a strict set of rules for making trading profitable.

Mandi just returned from Chicago, where she worked alongside market wizard Linda Raschke. Linda generously allowed Mandi a deep dive into her trading mindset. In this presentation Mandi will share with you how Linda become the extraordinary trader she is, how she cultivated a champion mindset that led her to the heights of her success, and also helped her overcome the massive challenges she encountered in her trading career as recounted in her latest book Trading Sardines.
Mandi Pour Rafsendjani has been an active trader in the financial markets for over 15 years, trading a variety of instruments such as Equities, Futures and CFD’s (SNP500, Dow Jones Emini, XJO, DAX, Commodities, and Forex).Today she is not only an active trader specializing in the German DAX, she is also a highly trained coach, NLP Master Trainer and certified E-DISC behavioral profiler, helping traders worldwide on the subjects of Trading Performance, Strategy Improvement, Increasing Profits, releasing Blockages around Money and Self-Sabotaging Behaviour, applying cutting edge tools from Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Neuro-Science and Behavioural Finance blending in elements from Buddhism, Mindfulness, and Yogic Principles.
