Welcome to the ATAA
The Australian Technical Analysts Association is for people who are interested in the analysis of financial instruments based on available market data. To invest or trade financial instruments in the markets, there are basically two approaches to assess opportunities: fundamental analysis and technical analysis.
2022 ATAA Conference Dates
The conference dates for the 2022 ATAA in person Conference is October 07-09 2022 at the Rendevous Hotel in Melbourne. Diary and block those dates. The confirmation of speakers for the new dates has been undertaken. The Board is finalizing the possibility of the conference being a joint ATAA/IFTA conference (more on that to follow). Introducing the Online Introductory Technical Analysis course
The ATAA Board is pleased to announce the availability of the Online Introductory Technical Analysis course. The course material is an online version of the Chartwise Market Solutions course previously offered around Australia between 1995 and 2018, and was the introduction to technical analysis for many of the ATAA Perth members. Besides the 16 hours of training provided over 8 weeks, attendees also get the Modular Charts charting sofftware.
ATAA Home Study Course
We are please to advise that the Home Study Course is now available on the ATAA website. The course is for students of technical analysis who wish to learn at their own pace. It is aimed at the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA) Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) internationally recognised qualification.
