The ATAA regularly runs many events across Australia, and participates in events around the world. Information about these is on the tabs below.
Chapters
There are several Chapters across the country that hold monthly meetings, typically with presentations, networking opportunities, and discussions on the markets. Information on forthcoming meetings and previous ones is shown. In addition, under the Resources tab, there are "Jottings" for those Chapters, with supplementary information and discussion.
Most of the presentations at the various Chapter meetings are captured, often as videos as well as documents, and can be viewed by members in the Contributions Library on the Resources tab.
A Chapter for remote members has been added to address the needs of members who are far from the venues for the Chapters, so that they can more effectively participate in ATAA activities.
Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
In addition to the monthly Chapter meetings, there is a number of Special Interest Groups. Some of these are groups that meet regularly, typically monthly, with presentations and discussions. From time to time, some SIGs have organised workshops and one-day presentations addressed by members as well as invited experts. Other SIGs hold online meetings. All of these will be found under the Events tab. Again, there are entries for SIG Jottings under the Resources tab.
Conferences
Annual conferences have been one of the outstanding successes of the ATAA, and are normally held over three days. They feature a mixture of local and overseas presenters, together with workshops, discussion groups, networking sessions and social events. The ATAA is affiliated with the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA), and IFTA hosts an international conference each year, which in 2016 was held in Sydney and in 2017 is being held in Milan. Information on all of these "past and future" are on the tabs below.
Again, presentations from those conferences are available under the Resources tab in the Contributions Library. However, for two years after the conference, this is available only to members who were registered attendees of the conference.
