Notice: Annual Meeting and Election of Councilors
The annual meeting for the election of Councilors for the Canberra Chapter will be held at 6.15 pm on Tuesday 19th November 2024, at Eastlake Football Club, Griffith. Nomination forms for the Chapter must be lodged with the ATAA Chapter President by no later than Tuesday 5th November 2024. Nomination forms can be downloaded from the members section of the ATAA website (go to Membership > Nomination Forms).

In Person Presentation – Recent Trades – Winners and Losers in volatile markets
Four of our local members including Bruce Taylor, Gabriel Spacca, Chris Meakin and a successful Options Trader will present some recent winning and losing trades based on TA and their rationale inherent in entries, exits, target prices and stops. Trades based on Charting, systemic trades based on back testing, indicators and probability, in a variety of markets, will be discussed and shared.
These include winning and losing Options trades, a look at Agricultural Commodities, two ASX trades based purely on Charts and two variations of an Australian ETF version of the Dalio All Weather strategy.
There is a lot of applied learning from explanation and discussion of actual trades and a variety of approaches particularly in volatile trading and geopolitical periods. Do join us for these 15-minute presentations that demonstrate a range of strategies being currently employed by local members actively trading with both successful and unsuccessful outcomes.
ATAA Meetings 2025
A brief discussion during this meeting will be conducted to members’ views of the potential of a slight format change for meetings in 2025.
