6.45 pm to 8.00 pm – GUEST SPEAKER (online):

Kalvert Clark D. Hom., D.C. – Philosopher, Trading Educator and Investor
Topic: “Cycles and Forecasts”

Until recently, Kalvert Clark often wondered if his eclectic view of life might be a problem. Frequently, he received complaints about the vast collection of books he had on a multitude of subjects and was asked on numerous occasions, "Why don’t you specialise?" This question perplexed him for years. However, clarity came when he listened to an audiobook titled "Range" by David Epstein. The book explores "How Generalists Triumph in a Specialised World" and made it clear that all of Kalvert's diverse interests had developed into a broad range of knowledge beneficial in any endeavour.

About Kalvert Clark

Kalvert has worked with notable figures such as Phil Anderson, Catherine Cashmore, and Ian Flack. He also attended a class in 2003 with Olga, led by Jillian Barnsley Greaves, daughter of the famous astrologer Doris Greaves. Some of his favourite authors include Nicholas Taleb, Annie Duke, Dr John Diamond, and W. D. Gann. While Gann is known for his books on trading, Kalvert particularly values a little book on personal growth titled "The Magic Word." In it, Gann promotes the idea of chanting the word "Jehovah" to balance the three brains of man: the Gut Brain, the Heart Brain, and the Head Brain. Although Gann did not explicitly state it in these terms, that is what Kalvert believes Gann was doing. Kalvert advises purchasing the original version of the book, as he believes the new version does not accurately represent Gann's intended message.
