Notice: Annual Meeting and Election of Councillors
The annual meeting for the election of Councillors for the Adelaide Chapter will be held at 7.15 pm on Wednesday 15th November 2023, at the Education Development Centre, 4 Milner St, Hindmarsh. Nomination forms for the Chapter must be lodged with the ATAA Chapter Secretary by no later than Friday 3rd November 2023. Nomination forms can be downloaded from the members section of the ATAA website here.

In this presentation, Charles will discuss a number of important concepts and why these are crucial for understanding and trading using price patterns:
- The Primary Function of the Market - What is the market's primary function, and how does it affects price patterns? This is a very important concept that enables traders to identify valid price patterns. It is also vital for understanding trend development and price movement.
- Pattern location- Identifying valid patterns is impossible without understanding the importance of pattern location.

- Do Candlestick Patterns Work? - Charles will answer this question with compelling evidence, and he'll explain why so many traders have failed to successfully use candlestick patterns.
- Data Mining of Price Patterns - The concept of data mining will be explained and Charles will reveal two price patterns discovered using data mining software.

Charles Browne is a private trader who has traded the financial markets since 1972. He has served as National ATAA President (2004 - 2009) and as Adelaide ATAA President (1997-2022). Charles has traded a range of markets, including shares, futures and forex.
