HomeAdelaide Chapter

The Adelaide Chapter meets monthly on the 3rd Wednesday of each month except for December.

Members and guests meet for dinner and a social chat at the Pre-meeting dinner starting at 5:30 pm and the main meeting follows at a nearby Education Development Centre starting at 7:00 pm. which is located just a couple of minutes' drive down the road.

Both the pre-meeting dinner and the main meeting offer opportunities for some great member networking where members can make contact with like-minded investors and traders, exchange ideas and extend their networks. Members and guests benefit from this exchange of knowledge.

We started the year in style with a January presentation by Dennis Keillor, talking about how he uses cycles to guide his trading.

Our newly elected chapter councillors met on the 2nd Feb in our usual watering hole, Tavern 540, to plan the year ahead. We have speakers lined up for Feb and March Face to Face meetings. Zac Zacharia will talk about what to expect during the coming year and also cover investment risk management and then in March Jurij Bondaruk will cover the second part of his trading strategy development journey talking about adaptive stops, and if time allows, Ola Hansson will do a short presentation.

There should be plenty to discuss.

The council listed several potential guest speakers for the remainder of the year and we will all be busy making things happen.

As of 2023, our council members will manage the chapter responsibilities as a group to maximise flexibility. We agreed to try and make use of the vast knowledge and experience of our chapter to get members to give short presentations and discussions so we can learn from each other in addition to having guest speakers.

All in all, we are off to a good start.
