Robert Brain - Private Trader(in-person)
Topic: “AI – What is it? Is there an AI bubble? How can I invest in AI?”
In recent years there has been more and more said about Artificial Intelligence (AI). But exactly what is it? Is there currently an AI bubble, or is there more opportunity for investors? How can I profit from this?
In this session Robert will explain what AI is, and all the related infrastructure and resources that are required to help make AI work. This will help to divulge the many companies that are involved with both the implementation of, and the ongoing operation of, “AI”. And this will help you to find the investment opportunities, for as long as the AI hype continues.
About Robert Brain
Robert earned a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Automotive) in the 1970s, and after working at GM-Holden, worked in several IT roles in different companies, managing IT infrastructure. He has a very good knowledge of what’s required to support the operations of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Robert has been studying the many aspects of technical analysis since 2006, and he is convinced that the share market price charts summarise the underlying opinions and emotions of the real market participants, and that every price chart tells a story. He also believes that Price Action Context is very relevant, and that Nimble Short-Term Investing is the way to go.
A few years ago Robert decided to combine his then casual interest in the share market with his extensive experience as an educator to develop his web-based Share Market Toolbox business to help investors and traders to refine their own strategies, and learn about the strategies of others. Robert is a private trader and educator, and an ATAA Councillor in the Melbourne Chapter. He also runs the Australian BullCharts (charting software) User Group with monthly Melbourne meetings and online webinar sessions.
