7:30 - 9:50 pm Trevor Klose – What are Futures & How to Trade them – Part 1
This is a very big & often misunderstood Topic and as such we are doing something we haven’t done before at the Adelaide ATAA Chapter, we are going to hold the Presentation over Two consecutive Months - July & August.
This way we can do the topic Justice & get a chance to ask Trevor questions.
-The presentation will provide an introduction into Futures, their history, what they are and what they are used for.
-Who are hedgers and who are speculators and their role in the markets.
-What are Futures Exchanges & the different types of Futures markets.
-Which markets are suitable to be traded by speculators.
-Contract Month roll overs and types of Continuous contracts.
-The Specification of a Futures product will be closely examined.
-The intention of this presentation is to provide an understanding of the Futures market and what is required to Trade these markets.
We don’t see Trevor much at the Chapter meetings, this Is a chance to ask questions.
About Trevor Klose:
Trevor is a Private Trader having commenced trading futures in 1998. He has been a member of the ATTA since 2002 and obtained a Diploma in Technical Analysis in 2004.
He has attended courses conducted by Larry Williams, Daniel Gramza, Jake Bernstein, and attended several ATAA National Conferences.
He uses Trade Navigator as his charting platform which has enabled him to develop a comprehensive set of his own charts using indicators in a unique manner.
