Looking at the Big Picture by Joanne Stuhmcke
This is an in-person presentation.
Zooming out and looking at the big picture can sometimes be overlooked as a tool in a trader or investors toolkit.
This presentation will follow Joanne’s journey as she gained an understanding of the macro-economic and technical factors that impact the market and how they influenced her investing and trading decisions and her overall portfolio management over 2024 and into 2025.
Joanne will explore economic charts that can provide investors with red flag warnings leading into market tops as well look at the impact of business and market cycles. Also some technical analysis signs of market tops including bearish divergences and market breadth indicators will be covered.
Her slides will explore real time charts and talk about practical strategies for portfolio management and financial planning decisions based on the presentation material.
Joanne lives in Brisbane and is a private trader and investor who manages a range of personal and family portfolios with different time frames and objectives. She has worked in the financial services, accounting and taxation industries for over 15 years.
Joanne has delivered courses, workshops, presentations and web-based education on a range of trading and investment related topics such as portfolio management, psychology, Elliot Wave and Fibonacci methods.
