Purpose
This workshop is designed for ATAA members and visitors who are already using RealTest software and wish to join a workshop group to build knowledge and share experiences.
Agenda
- 8:00 – 8:05 Chris Meakin – Intro.
- 8:05 – 8:30 Chris – A simple method of analysing and comparing back test results.
- 8:30 – 8:50 All – Follow-up on last month’s discussion on two Trend Following papers: Cole Wilcox and Eric Crittenden (2005); Carlo Zarattini, Alberto Pagani and Cole Wilcox (2025).
- 8:50 – 9:00 All – Other items; next month’s topic; wrap-up.
Workshop Goals
- Share and discuss code they are developing.
- Exchange tips on RealTest features.
- Discuss optimal use of RealTest functionalities.
- Analyze more complex code snippets.
- Address challenges and seek peer assistance.
- Navigate transition issues from other software like Amibroker.
- Develop collaborative coding partnerships.
Meeting Etiquette
- Join the meeting with audio muted, video ON, and full name displayed.
- Be prepared to participate actively.
- Register on the RealTest Forum and familiarize yourself with it.
- Maintain an interactive and engaging environment.
The meeting will be chaired by Chris Meakin.
