10:00 - 11:50: The Trader's Book on Volume - a review of the book by Mark Leibovit
Focusing exclusively on volume technical analysis, this book describes the basics of volume, explains how to use it to identify and assess the strength of trade-worthy trends, and provide in-depth techniques and strategies for trading volume indicators for profit.
We will continue looking at part1 – The importance of volume in technical analysis and how basic volume analysis works with specific attention to:
- Finish The Trader's Mantra: Volume Precedes Price
- Navigating the Volume Trading Terrain
- Spotting Volume/Price Patterns and Market Trends
About Mark Leibovit
He is a leading market strategist and technical analyst with more than 35 years of trading experience and possesses a solid track record of predicting important movement in the financial market including Black Monday 1987, the bear market of 2000 and 2008, and the ‘flash crash’ of May 2010.

We will look at a selection of charts from the ASX300 list.
1:50 - 3:00: A Sharper Focus on Chart Patterns - a video by Colin Nicholson.
Colin will look at how to use weekly chart patterns properly.

Meeting Location: 49 Gladstone Road, Highgate Hill, corner Morris Street (The Father Bacinskas Lithuanian Cultural Association).
- Free street parking is available on Gladstone Rd, Morris St and Julia St.
