SYD Technical Analysis Chat SIG

Convenor: Bruce Wood ()

The Sydney TA (Technical Analysis) Chat Group is a “Special Interest Group” (SIG) formed by the Sydney Chapter. Meetings are held monthly on Saturdays at Bondi Junction, (commencing February 2017), and our objective is to explore two elements of Technical Analysis.
Chart Analysis – How to interpret or read a chart using commonly accepted Technical Analysis techniques. Participation in these sessions will assist members towards making confident trading decisions. Commonly accepted Technical Analysis techniques may include, indicators, pattern recognition, trendlines, support and resistance levels, Fibonacci, Ichimoku Cloud etc.

Rules Based Trading Systems – This topic will cover all the stages of managing a Rules Based Trading System, including how to design, develop and operate your Rules Based Trading System. We will study back-testing processes towards understanding the expectations and risks of your trading system, and documenting your trading plan.

The format of this SIG will be an open dialogue discussion between the members with active member participation.  If you are a member of the ATAA and would like to attend, come along to a meeting, details are listed in "Events > Next Meetings".
