Momentum is a logical, time tested approach supported by vast amounts of academic and industry research gathered over many decades.

Stocks that have done well recently tend to continue doing well in the following months and even years.

This is known as 'price persistence' and can be found in individual stocks, commodities, foreign exchange and indices. This unique style of investing allows investors to build wealth, navigate changing markets, avoid sustained bearish periods and meet lifelong investment goals.

Nick will discuss how to build a systematic strategy to successfully capture price momentum in the Australian market.

Combining Elliott Wave theory and traditional technical analysis can help investors understand the current state of the market and how the market?s next phase is potentially unfolding. In this discussion, Nick Radge will show how he was able to call the top in 2007 and (almost) the exact low in 2009. We?ll also discuss the bigger picture for the Australian market and how patterns today are unfolding within the pattern progression of the last 30 years.

It?s a well-known fact that share prices tend to rise ahead of the ex-dividend date and dividend stripping as a strategy has been very popular. Unfortunately the demise of share prices during the GFC, and volatility since, have seen significant profits given back and the strategy is now less attractive. However, there is a safe way to pursue this momentum whilst practising prudent position management. In this session Nick Radge will fully disclose a systematic way to enter, exit and manage positions regardless of underlying market conditions.

So much focus nowadays is directed at specific analysis or entry techniques with many thinking these are the tenets of successful trading. Whilst trading needs to be a comfortable, consistent experience, entry and analysis don?t make the profits. Nick will detail facts about creating profits, travelling the journey of successful trading why system development can be a misnomer and why the old adage ?don?t risk more than 2%? can lead to failure. Nick will offer a different view on trading longevity and how you should think and act in the markets.
