Douglas, Alex

Alex Douglas first plotted currency movements on hand-drawn charts in 1983. This opened the door to a career in the financial markets that has included being a foreign exchange voice broker, a trader in the pits of the Sydney Futures Exchange and the Global Head of FX Technical Analysis providing real-time advice directly to a worldwide client base of institutional traders. He was a co-founder of the Technical Analysts Society of Singapore (TAS) in 2000 and has since held roles as the President of the Australian Professional Technical Analysts (APTA) and board member of the global umbrella organisation, the International Federation of Technical Analysts. Alex is currently the Managing Director of IBFX Australia.
