7:00pm: Ola Hansson - Automating Your Trading System
In this presentation, Ola will discuss his experiences with automating his trading systems. He will cover the following topics:
- Advantages, risk and challenges
- Melbourne Quant Traders SIG
- Setup and tools
7:45pm: Ola Hansson - Bollinger Bands Trading Strategy Update
Ola will present an update on the Bollinger Band strategy that he has traded for about four years. This strategy was outlined in Nick Radge's book, "Unholy Grails".
Ola Hansson is an Adelaide-based ATAA member and private trader.

8:20pm: Peter Hallsworth - Trading 52-week Highs and Lows
An article was published earlier this year written by Rivkin Global Investment Director, Oliver Gordon. The article outlined the results of strategies based on buying into stocks showing 52-week highs versus those showing 52-week lows. In this presentation, Peter will present the results of Gordon’s research, looking at it from both a theoretical and practical perspective. The results may surprise you!
8:40pm: Peter Hallsworth – Interactive Trading Simulation
In this session, Peter will run conduct an interactive session that will simulate a live market. A chart will be advanced one bar at a time, and members can place “trades” based in their view of the “market”.
Peter Hallsworth is a retired scientist and an Adelaide-based ATAA member and private trader.
