Interest in financial markets began in the "" era and over the ensuing years I gradually increased related knowledge and traded several derivatives products to gain experience.    Recently I have concentrated on building rules based trading systems that seek to generate a worthwhile profit while containing risk to an acceptable level. Various training courses in specifically targeted areas have proven well worthwhile when they are applied in the financial markets.    The value of being a member of ATAA is being realised more each year and contributing as a Councillor reinforces that experience. A Special Interest Group is where I gain the most benefit.
