7:05pm: Russell Lander Ord Minnett
In this presentation Russell will show the relevance in this fast-moving modern world of some of the ideas outlined in the classic book, Technical Analysis of Stock Trends which was first published in 1948. Rather than talk too much, Russel will be presenting a wide range of charts to highlight his findings.

Over the last 54 years Russell has worked as an analyst in some seven stockbroking firms. He is currently back at Ord Minnett where he acts as a consultant, producing a fortnightly global review of stock markets, commodities and exchange rates entitled “Market Perspective”, now in its 535th issue. He also assists in client functions around Australia for advisers. In the age of the specialist, Russell is unashamedly a generalist and thinks of himself more as a stock market physician than a neurosurgeon. His work straddles both the fundamental and technical approaches to analysis.
