6:15pm: Welcome and Announcements
6:20: Adrian Andrews – How and Why I trade Australian Options
It’s so true. If you don’t have a plan then you plan to fail. Adrian’s presentation will cover his trading plan in depth. How exchange traded options work and why he trades this financial product. Deeply imbedded in his trading plan is: discipline, risk management, mindset and psychology, which will all be highlight throughout his presentation. This trading plan is a combination of aligning information from charts such as price action, trends, validation levels and then using indicators as additional confirmation. The strategy uses these charting techniques to identify entry signals for short term moves. Exchanged traded options are applied for highly leveraged profit potential and risk management.
Adrian Andrews is a private trader, and his trading journey began in 2001 as an ambitious twenty five year old, who at that time had never even heard of Warren Buffet. After the loss of his third bank account, his trading strategy evolved into a complete trading plan for success. The trading plan became a strict set of rules, incorporating technical analysis, psychology, and exchange traded options. After sixteen years of trading Adrian strongly believes that trading is the hardest way to make easy money. It’s all about discipline and trading in the zone. Since those days of losses, Adrian averages around 200% pa return on his trading bank. He joined the ATAA two years ago after putting it off for over ten years. Adrian’s enjoys meeting members and speakers with similar interests, and now wishes he had joined sooner.
