Topic: Creating Wealth From Trading, Not Just Income

Only 5% of traders make money, but the vast majority of this group only make enough to pay their costs and earn a modest income. Only a very small few create significant wealth from trading. So what does it take to be able to make that transition? Skill, analysis, consistency, confidence? Greg will run through his processes, analysis, trading strategies and insights that help him continually improve his skills and returns. Greg is in the process of completing a detailed book of his trading knowledge and this will be a rare insight into all areas of the trading business and why so many fail.

Gregory Tolpigin is currently the Head of Proprietary Trading at Global Prime and Gleneagle Securities where his team trades all asset classes and instruments across the globe. He is regarded as one of the most successful proprietary traders in the country with an exceptional trading record, having only recorded three losing quarters over a 15-year trading career. Prior to this he ran his own hedge fund and advisory business, which included many of the international investment banks as clients and investors. He has held trading and strategist roles with Macquarie Bank, Bankers Trust and Citigroup during his 23 year career. Greg has been a guest columnist for the Australian Financial Review and a former ATAA Treasurer.
