6:40 Break (and last minute dinner orders)
6.45pm: Guest Member Speaker: Gary Stone - Managing Director, Share Wealth Systems
Topic: Using technical analysis to time large cap stocks and ETFs
With more and more pressure on our busy lives, active investors are looking for ways to become more efficient with their investing by increasing the investment return for effort exerted. Gary will discuss how he uses technical analysis to achieve this by conducting ‘longer term’ timing on index ETFs and large cap stocks, and potentially using leverage to boost returns when the market is trending.
Gary Stone has a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics. He started his career in investing in the Stockmarket in 1989 when he first became interested in technical and fundamental analysis of stocks. He combined two of his main business interests: computing and the stockmarket to establish a business in 1994 that provides active investing solutions and services to private investors. Gary has researched and designed three active investment methodologies that are commercially available in the marketplace, SPA3, IntelledgenceTM and SPA3ETF. Besides using these methodologies to trade, Gary is always either researching other methodologies for trading other instruments or conducting further research on the three commercially available methodologies. Gary appears regularly on Sky Business television “Switzer” programs and has been a presenter at AIA Retreats, Trader’s Expos and ATAA meetings. Gary has also presented at three Annual ATAA Conferences, the most recent of which was in 2014.
