Kahibah Sports Club at 63 Kenibea Ave, Kahibah, NSW


Please be aware the Club is not allowing entry to visitors from NSW LGA hot spots; currently Canterbury, Cumberland City Council & Northern Beaches LGAs are affected, plus the suburbs of Mount Druitt and Rooty Hill.

11:50 am: Peter Furner

Biography: Peter Furner is a private trader who has been managing private portfolios since 2007. He is a medium-term, chart-based trader using a structured, discretionary approach that has evolved from his beliefs regarding price movement.

Peter monitors all aspects of his trading business with detailed records and pays extra attention to the downside exposure (risk) of each trade and of the portfolio as a whole.

Topic: Peter will present on his favourite indicator that is based on the volatility of price movement. He will show how it is constructed, place it on his charts and outline how he uses it to identify trading opportunities for short, medium and long-term traders/investors. This will lead to the introduction of a price pattern called the Pocket Pivot. This pattern can be used to get onto the start of a trend before price breaks out and the direction becomes obvious to all.

1:00 pm: Lunch in Club Restaurant (optional)

2:00 pm: After lunch, Peter will go through his weekend scan results using his favourite indicator to find stocks of interest for further discussion. The scans cover the whole ASX market (micro/small/mid/large caps).
