Topic: Donald Trump tweets the US Federal Reserve should get interest rates down to ZERO, or less, so the government may refinance its debt. On the other hand, Phillip Lowe, Australia’s Reserve Bank Governor, worries about world events that could drag Australia into an economic abyss.
Regardless, the everything bubble continues to expand world-wide. Is it any wonder that in less than three years, gold has gone from being called an archaic relic, no more than a “Pet Rock”, to now being described as a safe haven asset, a hedge against uncertain times? This presentation is designed to provide a top down view of the motivating factors behind the rising interest in gold, worldwide.
If time permits, an interactive discussion aimed at identifying possible characteristics of early- moving ASX gold stocks (from both a fundamental and technical analysis perspective) shall follow.
