Trading a 'bounce' strategy with FX pairs

Wednesday 28th September 7.00pm (AEST)

Please note: the principles covered, as with many sessions we run in the ATAA trading group, have relevance for those trading ALL instruments. Join Mike Smith, Head of Client Education and Training at GO Markets ( and CEO of Trader IQ ( for this innovative, practically orientated session.

When exploring the 7 ways that markets move technically, there are an identified 4 key potential sentiment changes that may be of interest to FX traders.

In this important session, we will be doing a deeper dive into one of these and what I am terming a "bounce strategy" not only providing a description of the potential related price action (and 4 trade set ups) but also key considerations to bear in mind when adopting such an approach.

This session is appropriate for ALL levels of trader and may also have transferability across other trading instruments.

In this session, you will walk away with:

a. A clear outline of the price "anatomy" of what we define as 'a bounce' and associated trade set ups

b. FOUR important considerations that may turn a trading idea using this approach into a higher probability trade

As well as the educational component we will be looking at markets NOW and what potential set ups may be occurring LIVE,

Look forward to seeing you there

Mike Smith
