Topic: “Saxo’s multi-asset chartography and entering trades using CFD’s”
The first half of the presentation will provide colour on what Saxo Capital Markets’ Global Sales Trader is watching in the market from a technical charting perspective. This will include ‘trade decisions’ determined through technical analysis, different charting methodology, how to manage risk with the trade and what catalysts there are to close the position.
This will be followed by a presentation on Contracts For Difference (CFD) trading. What we will cover during this presentation:
- What is a CFD? (Including long and short positions)
- How are margins accessed?
- How is interest charged?
- What CFD’s can you trade – equities / indices / Aus / USA / Other
- What are the risks?
- What happens when a stock goes ex-div?
- What happens when a stock is suspended?
Junvum Kim, Global Sales Trader
Junvum Kim joined Saxo as a private sales trader in 2014. Prior to Saxo, he was a proprietary futures trader at Propex Derivatives in Sydney mainly trading SPI and E-mini futures. He is responsible for execution of large or complex trades and delivery of market commentary, while supporting with risk management of VIP clients’ exposure.
Lucy Payne, Relationship Manager
Lucy Payne joined Saxo in 2018 as a Relationship Manager based in Sydney, Australia. She is responsible for maintaining the strength of relationships with existing and new private sales clients, specialising in the Australian and International equity markets.
Lucy holds a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Arts, Australian National University
