5:30 pm: The Great All Ordinaries Competition – Jurij Bondaruk The start of a new year and a new competition. Participants are asked to bring number of stock choices from the All Ords to ensure they are able to participate in the competition. (There are no double up stock selections) Prizes to be won each month.
Jurij Bondaruk will explain the rules of the competition and how it will be run over the next 12 months
6.00pm: Our guest speaker this month is Darryl Nagel from the the Sydney Chapter. The Topic: The relationship between Gann, Elliott Wave, Fibonacci and Ichimoku. Darryl will explain his focus on a relationship between Gann, Elliott Wave, Fibonacci and Ichimoku. He will illustrate his simple method of trading using Ichimoku to trade a Gann forecast. He will show you how to anticipate a period of congestion and how to profitably trade through a sideways market.
7.00pm: Tea/Coffee Break. A chance for members to mingle and catch up with Darryl and each other. 7.15 Darryl will resume his presentation
8.15pm: Meeting Ends. Members and guests are invited to Post Meeting dinner in the club restaurant at the end of the presentation
Biography Darryl Nagel has been a member of the ATAA since the 1990's. He serves as a director on the national board. He is a Councillor of the Sydney Chapter and President of the Remote Chapter.
He started trading the markets in 1986 focussing on trading options. He has been a guest panellist on the Australian national Sky Business Channel program "Your Money Your Call”, as a technical analyst. He has taught technical analysis since 2003, including Gann, Elliott Wave and Ichimoku.
He uses Ichimoku to assist his trading. Recently, he has been a student of volume profiling.
Darryl’s passion has been focussed on the psychology of trading. He gave his first presentation to the ATAA in 1996. That presentation can be found in the ATAA Newsletter dated July 1996.
Last year he commenced an ATAA Special Interest Group, the Holy Grail Trader, which focusses on an alternate solution to trading challenges using mathematics (the same that technical analysts use), rather than studying human behaviour.
This year he is focussed on starting an ATAA Special Interest Group – Self Managed Superannuation Funds
