Presentation: 5 Cognitive Models for Optimised Decision Making
In his famous 1994 speech, Charlie Munger shared his practical approach to making good decisions: “You’ve got to hang experience on a latticework of models in your head.”
Cognitive models are frameworks of thinking through which we process the external world. They shape how and what we think, they help us deal constructively with challenges we encounter and decide which opportunities get lost in our blind spot and which ones we notice. They are useful to simplify the complexity of the trading world.
The quality of our thinking is proportional to the models and frameworks in our mind. The ability to think through models will rapidly improve your decision making process, especially under pressure. In this session you will learn 5 key cognitive models that will help you to optimise your decision making process and so improve your performance.
