9:00 - 9:30: Meet and greet with tea & coffee.
9:30 - 10:15: Welcome and Introduction - A look at the markets.
10:15 - 12:00: About Exchange Traded Options
In this session we will do an overview of what an options is and how it is priced.
Will then look the TradeFloor Option Platform to see how a trade is placed.
A specific trading strategy to manage risk is called Delta Neutral - this based on one of the "Greeks" - Delta. We may have time to see how this works.
12:00 - 1:00: Lunch
1:00 - 3:00: Combining the Outputs of Two or more Indicators into One Number.
This process will require input from members as we determine the parameters of the indicators - assigning numbers to the various ‘reads’ of each indicator.
Two possible outcomes are:
1) a ‘raw’ number; and
2) the conversion of the number into an Oscillator between zero and 100.
We will first review how the Trend Intensity Indicator is constructed in the StockRadar platform; an overview of the rules given.
If time permits we may look at how a decision tree approach to using indicators in accord with a trading strategy compares with the ‘one number’ option.

- The No.196 bus from the Adelaide Street, CBD stops right in front of the venue on Gladstone Rd.
