6.45 pm to 8.00 pm – GUEST SPEAKER (Online):
Alan Oliver - Gann Trader
Topic: “W.D. Gann trading tools and strategies”
Join Alan for a simple, step by step review of one of the world’s great traders and innovators. Gann was lauded for his mastery of markets in the early 1900’s, making and keeping fortunes during WW1, the 1929 great depression, and WW2.
Some of Gann’s ideas were so unique, so different from the norm that they can appear quite illogical and challenging. He used ancient mathematics discovered within temples in India and pyramids in Egypt. He used planetary cycles as tools for timing the markets. His great discovery was the Square of 9 and the number 144 and we will review these tools in our presentation.
About Alan Oliver
Alan Oliver is a self-taught trader, trading independently with his own funds since 1989. After working for 2 of Australia’s major banks he started trading stocks with small amounts of money and with a few road bumps and lessons he has continued to trade his own account ever since. After working as a mentor for several Australian educators, he finally created some simple, easy to follow instructions into Gann methods and enjoys a friendly working relationship with thousands of traders world-wide. His website is tradingwithgann.com where some free and subscription material can be viewed for those wanting more guidance into Gann methods.
Join us for dinner after the presentations, for general discussion and networking with other members.
